Drydocking
Our company undertakes a variety of services, regarding inspection and repair of tailshafts, stern tubes, stern tube seals, rudder stocks and propellers.
Pitch propeller/Bow thruster
Complete overhauling of a pitch propeller mechanism, including repair of bearings, thrust bearings, machining of propeller blades and adjustment of proper clearances.
Stern Tube Seals
Repair of all types of stern tube seals (i.e. SIMPLEX, WARTSILA etc). Replacement of seals, machining of the liners, based on manufacturer instructions.
Hydraulic Propellers and Couplings
Dismantling of hydraulic propellers, rudder stocks and tailshaft coupling (i.e. SKF type)
Stern Tube Repair
Rebabibbitting of white metal stern tube bushes. Replacement of oil lubricated stern tube bushes, with new water-lubricated composite stern tube bushes (I.e Orkot, Thordon etc).
Shaft Repair
Manufacturing or machining of tailshafts and rudder stocks, up to 8m long and 1,25m wide. Manufacturing and replacement of bronze tailshaft sleeves. Coating of tailshafts with epoxy resins for corrosion protection. In-situ machining of reamer bolts bores.
Rebabbitting
Rebabbitting of white metal stern tube bushes, intermediate shaft bearings and thrust bearings
Alignments
Alignment services including alignment of tailshafts, stern tube bushes, intermediate bearings and main engines by laser means.
In-situ machining
In situ machining of stern tubes, rudder stock bushes.
